Another shot of Success Lake. We had ZERO cell service here. Neither our T-Mobile nor our Verizon mi-fi worked at all. This is the first time yet with absolutely NO service whatsoever in a campsite. According to T-Mobile’s coverage map we were supposed to have “fair” coverage, so we were not expecting to be able to use data, but we thought we could at least make phone calls. Greg had already planned to take a long weekend for this leg so we could visit Sequoia N.P so that’s why we took the chance and booked this park despite it’s shaky cell service. Turns out we (or at least I) enjoyed the peace and quiet more than I expected. If Greg didn’t have to be connected to work I’d love to go dark more often!
